Already using ox_inventory? Back up your database and your old ox_inventory folder first. Your existing items, stashes and player inventories are kept.

1. Download the resource and put the ox_inventory folder in your resources, for example resources/[standalone]/ox_inventory. Do not rename the folder. Other scripts and the image paths (nui://ox_inventory/...) depend on the name.

2. Add the convars to your server.cfg. Paste the whole block from ox_inventory/setup/server.cfg above the ensure lines, then set at least:

   setr ox:locale "en"            # language, see locales/
   setr inventory:framework "esx" # esx | qb | qbx | ox | nd

3. Set the start order in server.cfg:

   ensure oxmysql
   ensure ox_lib
   ensure es_extended      # or your framework core
   ensure ox_target        # optional
   ensure ox_inventory

Make sure to have an updated version of esx_core

First Step:

• Delete any other inventory system

• in es_extended/shared/config/main.lua set useExternalCharacters = true

If you have items in the items database table that are missing from data/items.lua, they are appended to data/items.lua on the first start. Restart the server once after that

QBCORE

• Remove qb-inventory and any other inventoryDelete qb-multicharacter or any other

QBOX

• Remove qb-inventory and any other inventoryDelete qb-multicharacter or any other

No SQL file needs to be imported.

1. Optional — convert old ESX data from the server console:

   convertinventory esx          # old ESX player inventories
   convertinventory esxproperty  # old esx_property inventories

2. Configure config.lua. The minimum is your branding, theme and Discord webhooks; see Configuration.

If a dependency is missing or too old, the console keeps printing the error and players cannot connect until it is fixed. That is intended, so a broken setup is never played on.
